Continuous Improvement Program Manager
Betty Han joined UBC in 2022 as a Senior Change Management Specialist (Community Engagement Partner) with the Integrated Renewal Program – Student. Prior to that, she was a Change Lead for the business transformation initiative at the British Columbia Automobile Association. Leveraging her problem-solving skills, using a collaborative approach, and tapping into her passion for continuous improvement, Betty will play a key role in supporting and delivering process improvement projects across UBC.
Betty holds an MBA from SFU Beedie School of Business, a Marketing Management Certificate from BCIT, a Project Management Certificate from UBC Sauder School of Business, certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMP and Agile) and the Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Additionally, she has a BA in Marketing and Advertising from National Cheng Chi University.
Outside of work, Betty enjoys spending time with her family playing sports and trying new restaurants. She also takes great pride in contributing to her community through her position as Board of Director for the Semiahmoo Arts Society driving their mission of Arts for Everyone.
